Blizzard is encouraging World of Warcraft: Shadowlands players to choose which free mount they get after the expansion releases October 27.

Mounts, which are an vital means of transportation in the huge world of Azeroth, are becoming a favorite area of the MMO experience: some players collect as many as possible whilst others excitement after super rare ones.

In Q1 2021, Blizzard will probably be incorporating a brand new mount to the game -- and this time gamers get to select which among five concepts it will be. Blizzard's art group has yet to finalise the next mount, and the design with the most votes globally will be added to the game in a later patch.

The five theories are:

Wandering Ancient -- Not all ancients are interested in war or lore, some only need to travel the entire world! A large and leafy bracket, the Wandering Ancient invites one to climb aboard and grab ahold of its branches as you embark on a lumbering expedition.

Soaring Spelltome -- At the forgotten depths of the Dalaran library, this oversize tome was discovered flapping madly round the room. Open the pages of the arcane-infused book and arrange a ride to magic experience. Some were captured by the Argent Crusade and switched by their own allies at the Ebon Blade. Their spidery claws are put to use as mounts, skittering through the frozen tundra of Icecrown in pursuit of the rampaging undead. The Pandaren of Halfhill awakened the next morning to locate the crops half-eaten and also an enormous, slumbering caterpillar among them. Too big to become a butterfly, this friendly pig is just the right size to train as a bracket. Dressed as shamans, elves and knights, the gaming fans took part in competitions and games in a forest in Kamyk nad Vltavou, south of Prague, but the typical live-action battle was scrapped because of a very low turnout.

The annual spring festival usually brings up to 200 fans but organisers said turnout was only about 60 this season after the delay caused by coronavirus lockdowns at Europe.

"We're just happy that this year (the festival) is occurring," said Eliska Pabl Kaplanova, one of the organisers. "So this year it's a smaller stage."

The internet role-playing game has become a cultural phenomenon since launching in 2004, with millions of gamers worldwide.

Jaroslav Racek, a policeman daily, said he had been making his seventh trip to the Czech event and he it was a chance to be immersed in something distinct. "A individual can enjoy himself on the planet and not just sit at a computer."
