Rebalance Archetype System The archetype systems was unveiled a few years ago and I was enthralled by the idea. It could result in more unique builds, and lessen the possibility of the game becoming unstable because of overpowered MyPlayers. It was a perfect solution to an issue that had been around for decades in the community.

However, the archetype system has not been able to attain its main objective. It's not even balanced and I am convinced that there are more powerful build options today than ever before. The critical issue is that 2K failed to manage the weaknesses and strengths of each model effectively. A center that is more than 7 feet tall and weighs over 270 pounds cannot surpass a guard in the court during transition.

Point guards have been struggling to remain active in the last two years. It is not an advantage. The speed increase of a Point Forward construction isn't significant. A Point Forward has more potential than a guard. 2K Sports should address archetypes and design concepts which have inherent strengths as well as weaknesses. A center which isn't big enough will be able to move quickly but not enough to defend more prominent players.
