Smith is always one of the top edge rushers in the past two seasons, has been given a "Madden" overall rating of 89. That puts him 10th in the field of edge rushers.

Smith's frustration is normal. Smith is not in the top 10 at his position but it's not impossible to argue that Smith ought to be given a higher overall rating. Smith has been pro-bowler twice in the two seasons he played for Packers and is considered one of the top pass rushers in all of league.

Pro Football Focus reports that Smith has recorded 144 pressures over the last two seasons. This is fourth-most during the regular season. Over that period, he also has 26 sacks, which is in line with Aaron Donald for third most in the NFL since the start of the year according to StatMuse.

All of the edge rushers that make the list are worthy of. There are so many great pass rushers across the country this season and it's a challenge to compile an accurate list of the top 10. Smith's selection in this group is a sign of his skill, but it's reasonable to say that his score should be higher than an 89.
